Cermak Rhoades Architects was founded in 1993 by Terri Cermak and Todd Rhoades to provide high-quality design and professional services to clients who produce a continuum of housing and mixed-use development options. Since that time, we have provided architectural services for over 6,000 new and renovated dwelling units and planning services for neighborhoods across the state of Minnesota. Prior to starting the firm, Terri and Todd each had 13 years experience on a variety of residential and commercial projects in other firms around the Midwest. Todd also has taught various architectural design courses at the University of Minnesota for over 23 years. We currently have a staff of eleven people in our downtown St. Paul office - all dedicated to affordable housing practice. Our projects range from site evaluation studies and single family homes to multi-million dollar mixed-use developments, both new construction and renovation, in cities and towns around the State of Minnesota. Our clients include nonprofit organizations, individuals, private developers and local governments — many of whom we have been fortunate to work with on multiple projects.
