DJR Architecture was established in 1985 and has its roots in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. One of the firms earliest endeavors was working with local non-profits to create affordable housing and sustainable urban design to stimulate community development. Through this earliest experience and years of community involvement, our creative designs have become an integral part of the Twin Cities urban and regional fabric. At DJR Architecture, we embrace the collaborative process to design innovative solutions and deliver successful client projects. We provide architectural services from the pre-development phase through the planning, design, bidding and construction phases. Within the last decade, the firm has developed specialized services for the pre-development phase and has emerged as a leader in development planning services. In keeping pace with the industry, the firm has advanced to stay current with emerging trends in the building industry. As a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), the office has several LEED Accredited Professionals on staff to accommodate clients with an interest in sustainable and high-performance building design. Our dedicated and talented design professionals are focused and committed to the success of each project. Project teams are directed by a project manager and project architect who oversee the implementation of the design and the proper coordination between disciplines.
