Laurie Murphy is founder and CEO of Laurie Murphy Architect PLLC. She is sole proprietor and architect. She spends her work days attending meetings with clients, performing job site observation inspections, conducting site visits to verify as-built conditions, creating design for new projects, and above all else, producing permit and construction documents in AutoCAD for current projects. She is a registered architect with Texas and a member of the American Institute of Architects. She has sponsored multiple charity golf tournaments to give back to the community. Recently she has been nominated as Architect of the Year at the recent American Subcontractors Association North Texas Chapter 50th Anniversary & Awards Gala. LMA provides architectural services for offices, hotels, restaurants, retail, churches, warehouses, airport hangars, multi-family and single family projects. Services include design, construction documents, permitting management, TDLR submission and COMcheck/REScheck. Project types include ground up, expansion and remodel. Construction type includes traditional steel or wood framing, concrete tilt wall, and pre-engineered metal buildings. Services also include providing as-built plans for existing buildings. Ability to propose on complete design needed for permit and construction documents including civil, structural and MEP engineering using local consultants.
