With its eleven floors, the Ellipse tower was conceived as an urban beacon. Its façade is decked out in Terreal glazed cladding with very neutral contemporary colors hanging in alignment with the brick of workers’ houses.
The UT Southwestern Moncrief Medical Center project in Fort Worth, Texas utilizes a vertical installation of Terreal Piterak Slim terracotta wall cladding.
The total precast structure includes precast columns, double tees, inverted tees, beams and spandrels. Exterior walls are spandrels with curtainwall glass. The renovation of the Featherstone High School required the removal of the old concrete spandrel panels and repairs to the concrete structure. Kalwall panels were installed and supported on a new steel frame, which was added to extend the floor space.
