Wells Concrete worked diligently to perfect the texture and mix design in order to match the granite being used for the smaller portion of this project. The result was an identical aesthetic, nearly undetectable pattern duplication, and faster time to market using precast.
The Higher Ground shelter is total-precast building, components include insulated wall panels, prestressed hollow-core planks, and precast stairs. The wall panels are load-bearing, but also provide an exterior acid-etched, colored architectural finish.
