The UNCG pedestrian tunnel is a 200’ long, pedestrian and bicycle tunnel under the Norfolk Southern rail line that ensures safe and convenient access for students coming to and from the campus, by Wagner Murray.
Since SageGlass reacts to the sun and tints automatically to varying degrees, depending on the strength of the sunlight, installation of external shading systems was not not required, eliminating both the significant upfront and recurring costs of such system.
The occupants enjoy the clean air, daylighting, and a deep connection with nature provided by the sweeping view of the marsh and river.
