A cool wind is blowing in, perhaps capturing the drying wash on the laundry line. This movement-inspired design is made from strips of painted pine plywood on a metal frame. Lit by 5 LEDs inside a Ø4.25” sphere, each piece is suspended from a Ø3’ mirror ACM ceiling plate.

The monolithic square design of Talus creates an impressive contemporary centerpiece. Equally pleasing from all angles, the gently sloped circular fire feature will draw friends and family together.
Royal Architectural Institute of Canada awarded Architects Lemay/Atelier 21 with the Innovation in Architecture 2021 Award for the Grand Théâtre de Québec.
