When it came to the popular Back Bay location in Boston, Analogue Studio and Workbar decided to incorporate WELL building standards. “The certification was something we recognized would be a really good fit for Workbar's culture and commitment to member wellness," stated Pan.
Nestled in a neighborhood of historical brownstone residences and newer retail shops, the Back Bay Workbar draws in an entrepreneurial and wellness focused crowd.
As Rooney-Fields described it, Sterling Bay was looking for a landscape that would allow cross-pollination between teams and would encourage working together. They wanted small teams of people to be able to work together when needed rather than require reserving conference room space.
During these initial concept meetings, adjustability, multiple types of landing spaces, along with universal access to natural views and sunlight became cornerstones to the project.
The Boston Sports Institute believes sports are for all ages. The acquisition of an Olympic trial pool resulted in an opportunity to build a multi-use athletic facility consisting of 2 NHL rinks, 2 pools, spectator seating, an indoor turf field, and a physical therapy/strength conditioning area.
