A year-round daycare facility serving children 3-15 years, Robbins needed a larger, ground-up learning center to accommodate a diverse population.
The Dexter Southfield School was built into a hillside space that enabled a roof deck parking lot for 100 cars with an easy campus egress.
Rhode Island slate and granite building accents marry the complex to heritage structures. Exterior and interior egresses enable easy pedestrian and product flow supported by 100 parking spaces.
Bright colors, open spaces, and juvenile imagery became key design elements when designing the Robbins Children's Programs building.
