The design team knew exactly what they wanted in terms of the projections in the precast exterior. Gate Precast was willing to step outside of the box and try something new to take this project from conception to reality.
The shingles on the Shepard Branch Library are coined “dragon scales” by the neighborhood’s children. The hope is the shingles and space will continue to foster imagination and inspiration while providing a unique gateway entry experience to the Shepard Community.
The glass patio doors and window fixtures were provided by Pella and used products from their Pella® Impervia® line for its durability and stylish looks.
The design flexibility and versatility of precast concrete helped create the unique exterior of the Mill Street Parking Structure. We've increased their product mix over the years to meet the growing needs developed by their clients.
The tint of the SageGlass can be manually controlled via a wall panel to meet individual patient preferences, making it possible to progressively darken the interior, which is an important consideration for patients with sensitive eye conditions.
