By installing SageGlass® in its spa, Ashford Castle has admirably combined history and modernity. Its clients are now able to experience a more enjoyable and comfortable stay when utilising its swimming pool and sports facilities due to the prevention of excess glare and unwanted solar heat gain.
Communal tables in the center of the space offered an opportunity for a more dramatic visual element. Barn Light Electric’s team of engineers created a custom chandelier by expanding a standard chandelier to a 9-foot long, 3-foot high jewel suspended over the tables.

The large windows that provide 360 degree views of Los Angeles span over to the lobby and waiting area space at the restaurant. Complete with comfortable, modern couches and sculpture lighting, the waiting space has an ambiance as great as the dining area.
Many historical design remnants remain in the five-story, 124-room hotel including exposed timber and brick, tall ceilings, and original industrial elements. The original character of the building was combined with locally-inspired interior finishes, decorative accents, and artwork.
