The unique ability of Kalwall translucent sandwich panels to diffuse natural daylight into the interior means the new TSA screening facility maintains privacy for the sensitive areas while bathing the interior with natural, glare-free light.
The design intent of the panels was to create a dynamic warm flowing visual form. Mark Raissen conceptualized a series of 39 panels constructed with 3-Form Varia Ecoresin Texture Way to create the textured, formed the design of each panel located throughout the auditorium balcony.
