Multiple construction phases over decades left Emmanuel Christian Center facility with patch-worked design and infrastructure. Station 19’s design response was to communicate a vision for hospitality by introducing space and light via a gracious corridor through the heart of the education and administration building as well as a state-of-the-art 2300-seat auditorium and a top-to-bottom renovation of the kids’ area. With a design that is both interactive and relevant, ECC’s identity now combines both the urban culture of Minneapolis and the suburban influences of its surrounding communities.
