In conjunction with the designer, Boelter laid out a plan for better kitchen flow and efficiency to make sure all students were able to eat in a timely manner. With a strict university schedule, this was not a task to be taken lightly. It was determined that an open concept kitchen with multiple food stations would be the most practical. Students could spread out throughout the dining hall both for food and for seating. This would prevent roadblocks and congestion.
