On the Island of San Servolo in Venice, the site of Venice International University, is a new cultural centre, the result of a long and studious restoration of period buildings. It was here that ABX® H75, Astec’s new, proprietary system for thermally insulated lift/slide doors, was first tested, demonstrating the capacity to realize sliding panels up to 500 kgs in weight. The copper alloy cladding was created with the new product TECU® Bond Brass.
