Pella windows contributed to the project's LEED-qualifying points for daylighting. The superior energy efficiency of the windows – along with sunshades that block direct sun while bouncing daylight deep into the rooms – allows for more glass area and more natural light to enter the classroom, reducing the need for artificial lighting.
