The design intent for the reredos at the St. Lawrence Martyr Church, was to incorporate metals that would react beautifully with light, creating a glow from just behind the altar. This was accomplished with 3 finishes, in varying panel widths and lengths, in controlled but random pattern ensuring visual interest while still capturing the natural light.
