Acousti-Mat 1/8 is Maxxon's code minimum sound control option. With a thickness of 1/8" and a total system height of less than 1", it offers a low profile solution to help achieve code. Acousti-Mat 1/8 increases IIC ratings up to 9 points in wood frame construction and up to 20 points in concrete construction. It also increases STC ratings by 6-15 points over traditional bare wood frame systems. Acousti-Mat 1/8 offers a one-system warranty on sound mat and underlayment.
