Tops are 1" thick TFL with matching 3mm flat edge (standard manufactured by Expert Mfg) with 1/4"-20 x 20 Type D inserts in surface for attaching the base. Bases are manufactured by RAM Mfg, starting with a 3/8" thick laser cut steel plate, plate steel is then capped with a 16 gauge formed steel cover, bolted to a 3" dia column 16 gauge cold rolled steel tube, steel top plate is welded to column (depending on size either 6" x 6" x 11 ga or 11" x 11" x 7 ga), four - ½" adjustable glides are standard on all bases. Bases are offered in painted finishes (baked enamel powder coated over rust inhibiting phosphate pre-treatment) also available in plated finishes.
