Faraday’s circuitous frame presents the viewer with a floating volume that serves as both a canvas for a broad spectrum of materiality as well as the pragmatic purpose of managing wires from floor to surface in a discreet manner. In addition, the table surface appears to float above the frame element in order to create a sense of levitation. An extensive cantilever offers a dramatic architectural composition expressing the tension between line and form, frame and volume.
