AT&T Plaza façade features GKD’s Omega 1520 mesh, which provides a solar management solution for the offices. The sunscreens serve as a secondary feature that allow privacy from the plaza crowds below while remaining transparent to the view out.
The buildings border the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks. With a high profile broadcast station on the ground level of the east building, the project utilizes eight 15 by 31 foot LED screens that travel the length of the building on a motorized railing system.
Special sliding gates were designed and supplied by GKD to allow maintenance access to the video boards.
