When updating the Chicago O'Hare Airport Terminal 5, Goldray's digital ceramic printing process was used to create an innovative glass curtain wall that combined both functionality and design.
Goldray Glass used digital ceramic printing on glass to bring the architect's vision to life for the Chicago O'Hare Airport terminal 5 renovation.
The glass partition wall separates secured and non-secured areas of the O'Hare airport, it required opacity for privacy in some areas and translucency to enhance daylighting in others.
To create a cohesive design throughout the Chicago O'Hare terminal, complimentary decorative glass was installed in the airport restrooms and on balustrades surrounding the second floor mezzanine.
