Bendheim's proprietary HardShell™ coatings are formulated specifically for glass. They are eco-safe, and third-party tested as the best in the industry. For more information, please visit https://www.bendheim.com TRANSCRIPT: Bendheim back-painted glass is a durable surfacing material for a range of applications: from lobby walls and large marker boards to super-hygienic backsplashes. The glass painting process begins with a spectrometer analysis of the specified color. Pigments are carefully weighted and mixed to create an exact color match. Testing follows – an important step in the rigorous quality control process. Samples are produced for visual color review and approval. They are coated by hand, due to their small size. After samples are approved, the cut-to-size glass order is cleaned and prepped. Masking can be used to create spotless edges, logos, or other designs on the glass. An automated sprayer evenly applies the approved color. Bendheim’s proprietary HardShell™ coatings are formulated specifically for glass. They are eco-safe, and third-party tested as the best in the industry. The paint is baked onto the glass at temperatures exceeding 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Once cured, the glass is ready to be inspected for quality one more time, then packed and shipped to construction sites worldwide. When required, Bendheim’s durable back-panted glass can be re-cut or trimmed. Cutting, water-jetting, and polishing are all possible without damaging the high-quality HardShell™ glass coating.
