Long Beach City College is now home to the premiere culinary arts facility in the Southern California region.
All kitchens have TV monitors for students to get a close-up view of faculty members as they demonstrate culinary techniques.
The average kitchen size is 1,760 square feet, with the four main Kitchen Labs measuring more than 2,000 square feet each.
The facility also includes a functional student-run restaurant, lecture hall/demonstration kitchen, and a bakery counter serving artisan bread and pastries that are open to the public.
