With Boston-based roots extending back to 1928, MEC has never had a losing year based on the business practices of timeliness, fair price, and quality execution. They sought an office design reflective of an accomplished heritage, modern innovation, and open collaboration.
With a consolidated timeline and funds, the design build’s scope and cost option process kept the project moving forward while the vision was finalized. Tones, colors, and decorative elements reflect metal, a founding material to their business.
The traditional, closed-off preexisting space was opened with glass-walled offices and conference rooms.
Additionally, centralized collaborative areas reinforce the firm’s values of transparency and community.
