Maxxon Gyp-Crete 2000®/3.2K, Acousti-Mat® 3, Enkasonic® HP and Acousti-Mat® SD was used throughout the historic Schmidt Brewery during the renovation into the multifamily artist lofts.
The open beam timber construction at the Schmitt Brewery posed unique sound control challenges. Maxxon Acousti-Mat 3 was installed throughout the former brew house and most of the former bottle house and then topped with 3” of concrete.

In the former bottle house of the Schmitt Brewery, steel deck was retrofit to create a third floor for additional units. In this area, Maxxon Acousti-Mat SD was laid directly into the flutes of the corrugated steel deck.
