The new facility, dubbed i-lab; will serve as the program’s home base for lecture, project and product development, team collaboration and presentation pitches.
Anchored by a coffee shop lounge with adjoining patio work space, i-lab will create a link to the local Charlottesville community.
Colorful interior elements like a two story display media wall, idea clothesline, tree house mezzanine and meeting huts create dynamic ways for students to exchange and present ideas.
Mobile furnishings, full height dry erase walls and plug and play technology allow for ultimate flexibility and reconfiguration based on daily program needs.
